What can I expect in the first counseling session?

Your first session is a gentle conversation about what brought you here, what you hope will change, and what kind of support feels right for you.

Do I need to be Christian to book a session?

No. Peniel welcomes individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds. Faith can be included in counseling when you want it to be part of the process.

Can couples and families attend together?

Yes. Sessions are available for couples, families, youth, and groups, with care shaped around communication, trust, healing, and practical next steps.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Your privacy is treated with care and respect. Any limits to confidentiality are explained clearly at the beginning of counseling.

How do I know which service to choose?

Choose the closest fit when booking. If you are unsure, describe what you are facing in the message box and the right path can be discussed with you.

Do I need a referral to book?

You can reach out directly through the booking form. If another professional referred you, you can mention that in your message.

What should I prepare before my appointment?

You do not need to prepare a perfect story. Bring any questions, concerns, or goals you already know, and come as you are.
